Severe Cold Weather Alert has been extended through noon on Thursday, February 5, based on the latest forecast guidance. Cold conditions are expected to continue through the week and into late next week. If you are at risk from the cold, please feel free to call 860-645-5500 for help. Water Main Breaks

There are currently two water main breaks, one at Sherwood Circle and another at Wilfred Road. Both mains are off as crews work on repairs.

Last Day to Pay Tax Bills: February 2, 2026

Failure to pay any tax that is due by February 2, 2026 will cause the tax to become delinquent and subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, back to the original due date of January 1, 2026.

Tax offices are open until 6pm February 2, 2026.

Board of Education Administrative Personnel Contracts

State of Connecticut, Senate Bill No. 1502, Public Act No. 17-2, Section 157 specifies that any local board of education shall file a signed copy of any contract for administrative personnel with the Town Clerk's Office.
