Recreation Leader in Training (RLT, ages 14+15)
The Recreation Leader in Training program is a six-week leadership training program for youth ages 14+15. Of the six-weeks, the first three weeks are mandatory and the remaining three you must attend at least two of the three (but we would LOVE to have you for all of them!) The RLT program is designed for training youth to be future leaders and to provide them the opportunity for possible future employment with the Department of Leisure, Family, and Recreation, in our Summer Aquatics or Summer Camp program. Please note that participants must attend the first three weeks of RLT and at least two additional weeks. No transportation is provided. Each participant is responsible for providing transportation to and from any of the RLT sites. The main site for the RLT program this year will be at the Leisure Labs at Mahoney. For more information, please contact Taylor Niccolls, Recreation Supervisor, at 860-647-6039 tniccolls@manchesterct.gov.
