Bidwell street will be closed from Hartford Road to Ramey drive starting 9/22/2026, for 30 days to allow for sewer main installation. Detour signs have been installed to help residents navigate around closure area.Salters Pool Parking Lot will be closed starting 9/21/2026, for 6-8 weeks to allow reconstruction of the parking lot. Pond access will be maintained during construction.

The Manchester Water and Sewer Department will begin investigative test pits in the coming weeks throughout the Town of Manchester. If your property is selected, you will receive a notice at your door before the inspection. The equipment ranges from simple (steps at varying heights, parallel bars, an overhead ladder) to intricate (including the Combi 2, a graduated workout space featuring an incline bench, push up bar, decline bench, horizontal ladder, and pull up station).
