The Extreme Hot Weather Protocol will be activated at 11AM on Tuesday, July 14, and remain in effect through 5:00 PM on Thursday, July 16, this week. During this period, temperatures are expected to reach into the mid-to-high 90s, with the heat index surpassing 100 degrees at times.

The Town of Manchester mailed the tax bills for the October 1, 2025 Grand List on June 22, 2026. The first installment of taxes on the Grand List of October 1, 2025 are due and payable on July 1, 2026. Failure to pay any tax that is due by August 3, 2026 will cause the tax to become delinquent and subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, back to the original due date of July 1, 2026.

Come and discover the Woodbridge Farmstead Museum, a property of the Manchester Historical Society! It's a delightful two-acre pastoral oasis in the middle of Manchester. Take a self-guided tour through our 18th century barn and our 1830 farmhouse. Check out the displays inside our Visitor Center showing some of the history of the Manchester Green area. Bring the kids. We will be painting rocks with a 200 year town anniversary theme! Bring your own rock if you wish. Other games and crafts will be available. We are located at 495 East Middle Turnpike. Parking is available off Woodbridge Street behind the barn and through the gate. Please be careful entering and exiting our parking area. Overflow parking is also available at the nearby Senior Center.
