The Manchester Police Department is issuing an Snow Emergency Parking Ban in advance of a significant winter storm forecasted for this weekend and into early next week.The parking ban will take effect at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, and will remain in effect until 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24.
Trash and recycling curbside collection will not occur on Monday, 2/23. The normal collection schedule will be pushed back 1 day all week. Residents should keep their trash and recycling bins away from the streets and sidewalks until after snow cleanup has been completed.

Ladies, if you would like to have fun and make new friends while helping the community, then we are looking for you! Check out the Manchester Women’s Club at our next 3rd Monday of the month meeting, - May 15th, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at Center Congregational Church - 11 Center Street (next door to the Town Hall. Park in the town hall lot, go in the church 'Office' door, then toward your right and downstairs - signs posted). Our scheduled speaker is Theresa Strong with RSVP/READ, who will talk to us about opportunities to volunteer with elementary school readers.
We will be collecting non-perishable food items for MCC students’ Cougar Pantry and empty prescription bottles for reuse through a charity.
We do a wide variety of volunteer activities to help others in the community, such as Little Free Libraries for children, projects for Vets and MACC, as well as social activities to get to know each other. We have speakers come in from the community and work on current projects. We would love to have you check us out and get your ideas and help!
