Bidwell street will be closed from Hartford Road to Ramey drive starting 9/22/2026, for 30 days to allow for sewer main installation. Detour signs have been installed to help residents navigate around closure area.Salters Pool Parking Lot will be closed starting 9/21/2026, for 6-8 weeks to allow reconstruction of the parking lot. Pond access will be maintained during construction.

In the coming weeks, a two-person Arcadis inspection team will conduct in-home service line inspections at select Manchester residences. Team members will carry identification badges and wear Arcadis-branded safety vests. If your property is selected for inspection, you will receive a door hanger notice in advance. Parade and Color Guard form and step off from American Legion Drive, at 10:30 a.m. Arrive at Manchester Memorial Hospital for Outdoor Ceremony on Front Lawn. Lowering of Colors, Placing of Wreaths, Playing of Taps, and Bagpiper.
In case of inclement weather, the remainder of the ceremony will take place inside the hospital in the H. Louise Ruddell Auditorium at 11:15 a.m.
