The Connecticut Foodshare Mobile Food Pantry

The Connecticut Foodshare Mobile Food Pantry visits Beth Sholom B'nai Israel, 400 Middle Turnpike East, every other Thursday from 11:00 - 11:30am. We are only a few blocks away from the High School. Please arrive as close to 11:00am as possible; the Foodshare Van is on a tight schedule. Anyone in line before 11:30am will get to collect food. 
Anyone aged 16 or older can come collect food. Please bring a bag, box, or a rolling cart to carry your food. On average, each person receives about 20 pounds of food. Items vary from week to week, but fresh produce is frequently offered, as well as bread and snack items.
