Bidwell street will be closed from Hartford Road to Ramey drive starting 9/22/2026, for 30 days to allow for sewer main installation. Detour signs have been installed to help residents navigate around closure area.Salters Pool Parking Lot will be closed starting 9/21/2026, for 6-8 weeks to allow reconstruction of the parking lot. Pond access will be maintained during construction.

In the coming weeks, a two-person Arcadis inspection team will conduct in-home service line inspections at select Manchester residences. Team members will carry identification badges and wear Arcadis-branded safety vests. If your property is selected for inspection, you will receive a door hanger notice in advance. Saturday January 21---Amplify and the Glastonbury Community Action Partnership will present a Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training at the Riverfront Community Center in Glastonbury from 10 a.m. to Noon. As a QPR (Question, Persuade, and Refer)-trained Gatekeeper you will learn to recognize the warning signs of suicide and know how to offer help and hope.
