Storytelling Concert & Black History Month Celebration.
Please join us at the Manchester Historical Society, 175 Pine Street, Manchester on Sunday February 26, 2023 for a cost-free and exciting afternoon of storytelling. We are very pleased to present Len Cabral, the grandson of a Cape Verdean whaler, and an award-winning, and globally renowned spinner of tales.
Len Cabral has been engaging and entertaining audiences of all ages, in schools, theaters and festivals, throughout the United States, and around the word, for over forty-four (44), years. He has acclaimed popularity in countries such as; Ireland, Belgium, England, Wales, Austria, Amsterdam, Bali, and Singapore.
Len will be sharing, adventuresome and delightful folklore and stories from around the world designed to excite and engage, children, youth, and adults.
Following Mr. Cabral’s Storytelling Concert the African American and Black Affairs Council (AABAC) will hold a Black History Month Celebration. Manchester youth will offer short presentations about historic figures of color whom they admire.
