Excessive high temperatures are predicted Tuesday, 7/15 through Friday, 7/18, this week. In addition to 90+ degree temperatures, very humid conditions may push the heat index up to at least 100 degrees each day. Residents are advised to please take proper precautions. If you are at risk from the heat, call 860-645-5500 for assistance.
Failure to pay any tax that is due by August 1, 2025 will cause the tax to become delinquent and subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, back to the original due date of July 1, 2025. The Town of Manchester mailed the tax bills for the October 1, 2024 Grand List on June 20, 2025.

The Off-Main Experience launched last year, is returning again to Purnell Place on Thursdays throughout July from 5:00PM-8:00PM (July 7, July 14, July 21, July 28). Off-Main Experience is a collaboration between two of Connecticut’s placemaking experts, RiseUP for Arts and Blue Haus Group along with the Downtown Manchester Special Service District.
Last year’s event hosted over 15 vendors and 7 live painting exhibits while providing an immediate benefit to local businesses. Urban Lodge Brewing reported that on evenings with the event, the brewery roughly doubled their sales.
