Bidwell street will be closed from Hartford Road to Ramey drive starting 9/22/2026, for 30 days to allow for sewer main installation. Detour signs have been installed to help residents navigate around closure area.Salters Pool Parking Lot will be closed starting 9/21/2026, for 6-8 weeks to allow reconstruction of the parking lot. Pond access will be maintained during construction.
In the coming weeks, a two-person Arcadis inspection team will conduct in-home service line inspections at select Manchester residences. Team members will carry identification badges and wear Arcadis-branded safety vests. If your property is selected for inspection, you will receive a door hanger notice in advance. Thursday October 6---The NAMI Family Support Group via Zoom from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday October 12---The Family Support Group at St. Isidore and Maria at St. Paul Church in Glastonbury will resume meeting on the second Wednesday of the month. Meetings run from 7 to 8:30 p.m.; the church is located at 2577 Main Street in Glastonbury.
Monday October 17---The NAMI Spouse/Partner Support Group meets on the Third Monday of each month at 7 p.m. Go to https://namict.org/find-support/support-groups/.
Thursday October 20th---The NAMI Family Support Group in person at Center Congregational Church, 11 Center Street in Manchester from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
