The 38th Annual Martin Luther King Celebration will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 6:00-7:30pm in the MHS Bailey Auditorium. This program is to honor students and small groups who are promoting positive change in their school or community. The theme for this year’s celebration is inspired by the quote: “…a lot of people don’t love themselves. And they go through life with deep and haunting emotional conflicts. So the length of life means that you must love yourself. And you know what loving yourself also means? It means that you’ve got to accept yourself.” Please join us for this special evening to honor Dr. King and recognize the amazing contributions of youth in our community! This event is free and open to the public. For more information, please contact Kellie Gauvin at ksheridan@manchesterct.gov.
