Excessive high temperatures are predicted Tuesday, 7/15 through Friday, 7/18, this week. In addition to 90+ degree temperatures, very humid conditions may push the heat index up to at least 100 degrees each day. Residents are advised to please take proper precautions. Failure to pay any tax that is due by August 1, 2025 will cause the tax to become delinquent and subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, back to the original due date of July 1, 2025. The Town of Manchester mailed the tax bills for the October 1, 2024 Grand List on June 20, 2025.

The Manchester Garden Club will hold its Spring Plant Sale on Saturday, May 17, 2025 in the parking lot of the Church of Pentecost, 585 East Center Street. The sale begins at 8:30 am and continues until all plants are sold. Plants are from members’ gardens, including annuals, perennials, herbs, shrubs, trees and pollinators. This event is rain or shine. Plants cost $7 each (4-6” pots), with some premium plants at a higher price. Sales are cash only. Garden club members will be available to offer advice on growing tips. Come early as plants usually sell out quickly!
