Invasive Plant ID Walk - Tuesday, August 5, 6:30-7:30 PM

Meet at 330 Bush Hill Road with Land Trust board member Rachel Schnabel. We will do a short, easy stroll where we'll identify several invasive plants and how to cope with them. At the end of the stroll, there will be the option to stay for a trail hike on the 177-acre property. Wear sturdy shoes and bring a water bottle. Heavy rain cancels.  FREE

Invasive Plant Cut and Pull Party - Saturday, August 9, 8:30-10 AM

Join us to continue a project of mechanical removal of invasive plants along the Cheney Rail Trail, with a focus on control of Japanese knotweed. We will start along the Cheney Rail Trail north toward Middle Turnpike West.  Heavy rain cancels.

 

Where: Cheney Rail Trail, north from Center Springs Park toward Middle Turnpike West
