In the coming weeks, a two-person Arcadis inspection team will conduct in-home service line inspections at select Manchester residences. Team members will carry identification badges and wear Arcadis-branded safety vests. If your property is selected for inspection, you will receive a door hanger notice in advance. Please call 860-647-6050 with any questions or concerns.
Due to staffing shortages in the Building Inspection Division, permit processing and inspection scheduling may be delayed. To monitor your permit status, visit the Online Permit Portal or call 860-647-3052. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience.
UR Community Cares invites you to their upcoming Graffiti Battle April 23rd. It’s a competition between 10 local graffiti artists from RisesUp, such as Corey Pane, to create unique community murals with a live audience watching. They will have judges, such as Tamara Womack-Speaks and Joel Cox, to determine the winner and then the murals will be auctioned off at the end. The host will be Lorin Richardson from WFSB.
If you are an interested artist, please contact Michelle Puzzo, Executive Director 860-430-4557 or email info@urcommunitycares.org to register for the event by March 10, 2023.
This fundraiser will be held on Sunday, outside on 47 Purnell Place in Manchester (the road will be closed) on April 23rd, and the timing is 1-4pm. The artists will line up along the street to paint on the same theme in front of the spectators, then the pieces will be auctioned off.
Location: Urban Lodge Brewing, 47 Purnell Place, Manchester, CT.
Please attend, donate a raffle prize and/or be a sponsor. You can see more information about UR Community Cares on their website URCommunityCares.org.
