Bidwell street will be closed from Hartford Road to Ramey drive starting 9/22/2026, for 30 days to allow for sewer main installation. Detour signs have been installed to help residents navigate around closure area.Salters Pool Parking Lot will be closed starting 9/21/2026, for 6-8 weeks to allow reconstruction of the parking lot. Pond access will be maintained during construction.
In the coming weeks, a two-person Arcadis inspection team will conduct in-home service line inspections at select Manchester residences. Team members will carry identification badges and wear Arcadis-branded safety vests. If your property is selected for inspection, you will receive a door hanger notice in advance. Knights of Columbus Campbell Council #573 is hosting a Drive-By Food Drive to benefit MACC. In partnership with the St Teresa of Calcutta Parish, the food drive will be held on Saturday, August 20 from 9-12 at the St Bridget School parking lot, 80 Main Street, Manchester. Needed items include: mayonnaise, ketchup, peas, jelly, chicken noodle soup, and instant potatoes.
