Excessive high temperatures are predicted Tuesday, 7/15 through Friday, 7/18, this week. In addition to 90+ degree temperatures, very humid conditions may push the heat index up to at least 100 degrees each day. Residents are advised to please take proper precautions. Failure to pay any tax that is due by August 1, 2025 will cause the tax to become delinquent and subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, back to the original due date of July 1, 2025. The Town of Manchester mailed the tax bills for the October 1, 2024 Grand List on June 20, 2025.

The Manchester Senior Center is hosting a free ECHN Diabetes Education and Support course beginning on June 7, 2023. This 12-month program will meet weekly on Wednesdays from 10:00 to 11:00 am. During the second half of the program, the classes will be held monthly. If you are a prediabetic and meet other medical criteria, then you are invited to participate in this program. Trained lifestyle coaches from ECHN will help you set goals and develop healthy habits to lower your risk of developing type 2 diabetes, heart disease and stroke.
