Excessive high temperatures are predicted Tuesday, 7/15 through Friday, 7/18, this week. In addition to 90+ degree temperatures, very humid conditions may push the heat index up to at least 100 degrees each day. Residents are advised to please take proper precautions. Failure to pay any tax that is due by August 1, 2025 will cause the tax to become delinquent and subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, back to the original due date of July 1, 2025. The Town of Manchester mailed the tax bills for the October 1, 2024 Grand List on June 20, 2025.

Angelina Gadeliya, a soloist, chamber musician, new music advocate and educator, will perform at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 60 Church Street, Manchester, on Saturday, April 29, at 7:00 p.m. She has performed at New York's Alice Tully Hall, Carnegie's Weill Hall, the Ukranian Institutes in New York and Chicago, the German Consulate, and at major festivals in Aspen, Banff, Fontainebleau and elsewhere. Dr. Gadeliya is a faculty member and coordinator of keyboard studies at the University of Connecticut.
