Breaking the Silence: Men's Mental Health

Mental Health 101: Breaking the Silence: Men’s Mental Health

Date: Wednesday, June 4

Time: 5:30 – 6:30 PM

Location: ConnectiCare Center, 1487 Pleasant Valley Road, Manchester, CT

June is Men’s Mental Health Month, a time to break the silence and confront stigma. Men are four times more likely to die by suicide than women, yet far less likely to seek help or receive a diagnosis for depression. Join us on June 4 for an inclusive workshop led by Jacquilyn Davis, CDP®, Director of Learning & Workforce Development at Mental Health Connecticut. The session will focus on addressing stigma, sharing evidence-based resources, and breaking the silence around men’s mental wellness. By attending, you'll learn practical tools to support your own mental health, help others, and challenge the stigma that prevents many—especially men—from seeking the care they deserve.

This event is free and open to the public and registration is required. To register, visit www.connecticare.com/events.
