Excessive high temperatures are predicted Tuesday, 7/15 through Friday, 7/18, this week. In addition to 90+ degree temperatures, very humid conditions may push the heat index up to at least 100 degrees each day. Residents are advised to please take proper precautions. If you are at risk from the heat, call 860-645-5500 for assistance.
Failure to pay any tax that is due by August 1, 2025 will cause the tax to become delinquent and subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, back to the original due date of July 1, 2025. The Town of Manchester mailed the tax bills for the October 1, 2024 Grand List on June 20, 2025.

Authors & Illustrator's Writers Conference
WORK_SPACE will host writing workshops in collaboration with Manchester Public Library led by local writers and educators. Programs will be designed for both wannabe and experienced writers, will include experiential exercises and an opportunity to get feedback and determine ‘next steps.’ Conference includes breakfast and lunch and an opportunity to participate in 3 different workshops.
