Excessive high temperatures are predicted Tuesday, 7/15 through Friday, 7/18, this week. In addition to 90+ degree temperatures, very humid conditions may push the heat index up to at least 100 degrees each day. Residents are advised to please take proper precautions. Failure to pay any tax that is due by August 1, 2025 will cause the tax to become delinquent and subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, back to the original due date of July 1, 2025. The Town of Manchester mailed the tax bills for the October 1, 2024 Grand List on June 20, 2025.

The Unitarian Universalist Society East is hosting an opening reception for an art show entitled “The Community of Earth. “ Pastel artist Jane Penfield challenged fellow UUSE artists to produce a work in the medium of their choosing that embodied their interpretation of this ideal. An enthusiastic group of over 20 members responded. The public is invited to see and experience the results at the opening reception which takes place on Saturday March 4th from 2-4 PM.
