Bidwell street will be closed from Hartford Road to Ramey drive starting 9/22/2026, for 30 days to allow for sewer main installation. Detour signs have been installed to help residents navigate around closure area.Salters Pool Parking Lot will be closed starting 9/21/2026, for 6-8 weeks to allow reconstruction of the parking lot. Pond access will be maintained during construction.
In the coming weeks, a two-person Arcadis inspection team will conduct in-home service line inspections at select Manchester residences. Team members will carry identification badges and wear Arcadis-branded safety vests. If your property is selected for inspection, you will receive a door hanger notice in advance. "Colors of Courage" Art Exhibit
WORK_SPACE is proud to announce, "Colors of Courage," a poignant art exhibit honoring the courageous individuals who serve or have served in the military, as well as their immediate family members. This exhibition is strategically timed to coincide with Manchester's hosting of "The Wall That Heals,” a traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, scheduled to be at Charter Oak Park from September 19th to 22nd, 2024.
New England veterans, current military personnel, and their immediate family members, regardless of artistic background and experience, are invited to submit their work by July 22nd. We welcome a variety of mediums, including but not limited to painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, poetry, and performance. First-time exhibitors are especially encouraged to participate, as art serves as a powerful medium for personal expression and reflection.
Opening Reception: Thursday, August 1st, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Meet the Artists at 6:00 PM.
