Bidwell street will be closed from Hartford Road to Ramey drive starting 9/22/2026, for 30 days to allow for sewer main installation. Detour signs have been installed to help residents navigate around closure area.Salters Pool Parking Lot will be closed starting 9/21/2026, for 6-8 weeks to allow reconstruction of the parking lot. Pond access will be maintained during construction.

In the coming weeks, a two-person Arcadis inspection team will conduct in-home service line inspections at select Manchester residences. Team members will carry identification badges and wear Arcadis-branded safety vests. If your property is selected for inspection, you will receive a door hanger notice in advance. We invite members of the Manchester Community to take pictures within city-limits during a 7-day period. The program will start with participants choosing 1 of 3 ninety-minute workshops to be held at WORK_SPACE. Each class will be led by a professional photographer who will provide some technical tips in their area of expertise, Landscape/Nature, Portrait, Special Effect Photography. Participants will have a week to go around Manchester taking pictures and then submitting three of their best online. A panel of community members will select their favorites in a few different categories based on themes, techniques, and age groups of the photographer. Twenty-three (as in 2023) will be selected to be professionally printed and included in a photo exhibit in the Galleries @ WORK_SPACE.
