The Water Department will be flushing water mains in areas of the distribution system. Please see the attached list of streets for this week of flushing.Fire flow tests and hydraulic capacity tests of the system will also be done during this week in an effort to decrease the disturbances to our customers.

On Saturday, May 9, at 8:30 a.m., the Manchester Land Conservation Trust will host a free walk to view and hear birds at our 177.5-acre property in the southwestern area of Manchester, with bird experts Maggie Perretto and David Funke, members of the Hartford Audubon Society. All welcome, whether experienced or new birdwatchers. Bring binoculars, if you have them. Park at 330 Bush Hill Road, Manchester. We’ll stroll at a slow place for about a mile, which will take about an hour, but all are welcome to stay longer to explore five-plus miles of trails at the property. No dogs, please. Rain or shine, but extreme weather cancels.
