Buckley Elementary School

Buckley Elementary School is the State of Connecticut's first verified Net Zero Energy K-12 school and the first verified publicly funded net zero K-12 project in New England. ARPA Sustainability Grant Program

Under guidance from the Manchester Sustainability Commission, the Town of Manchester Board of Directors passed a resolution on October 4, 2022 authorizing a total of $500,000 of available American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding for grants to nonprofit organizations to promote sustainability, resiliency, and equity.
